Dinnissen Pacific moves into its next phase

Dinnissen Pacific quickly found its footing after opening its doors in New Zealand. Now, more than a year later, Manager Dinnissen Pacific Fons Kuijpers looks back on a period he describes as “full, productive and clearly heading in the right direction.”

Visible in the market and active with customers

Over the past year the team has strengthened its presence across New Zealand and Australia. Dinnissen Pacific exhibited the Lab Vacuum Coater at FoodTech PackTech in Auckland and joined the New Zealand Petfood Association (NZPA), a key step toward the growing pet food segment. Meanwhile, practical product testing has started, with several on site customer trials planned for January 2026. The team is also working with multiple producers on process improvements, including accurate dosing applications and sampling units.

Local presence that makes a difference

Being on the ground has proven essential. “Because we deliver tailor made solutions, you need to understand the product and process on site,” Kuijpers says. Local presence also improves service, maintenance and training. Even with digital tools, the ability to visit customers quickly remains a clear advantage.

Growing partner network

Dinnissen Pacific now works with regional partners for sales, service, installation and automation. This network enables the execution of both mid-size and large projects. Familiarity with regional regulations, including machine safety, energy standards and ATEX/IECEx, keeps projects running smoothly.

Looking ahead: strong focus on pet food

For the coming years, Kuijpers sees large potential in pet food. Vacuum coating is still rarely used in New Zealand, and Dinnissen aims to introduce this proven technology to help manufacturers create more premium products. At the same time, the branch is focused on delivering the projects currently in the pipeline, together with partners in the food and minerals sectors.

More than a year in, Dinnissen Pacific has moved from start up phase to steady development: visible in the market, close to customers and positioned for further growth.
